F1 2011 Testing Begins

It seems like only some weeks ago that Sebastian Vettel claimed his and Red Bull’s first Formula One world championship. While using season being thrown into turmoil before an engine continues to be revved it will be a great feeling for that teams to get into practice and regain some normality.

With practice sessions already completed in Valencia, Barcelona and Jerez it has become clear that the initial challenger for 2011 has stood around be counted. The RB7 the latest model on the globe championship team has become posting impressive times before race one.

Coming off a massively successful season most of the people will be happy to take on that a team has to be little apprehensive of following such success. The second season syndrome is known throughout sport, though the team is oozing with certainty. Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko recently commented to reporters “if the very first race were held tomorrow, we might find yourself lapping the rest of the field”. Which to be honest is a nice bold statement!

The modern RB7 is considered being generating awesome levels of down force that’s allowing the auto to handle much better through the corners than any of its competitors. The automobile can be so ferocious how the Red Bull team is confident of winning an extra successive title.

The new Ferrari looked good but it paled into insignificance when you look at the results manufactured by the Red Bull team. So it appear like a lot of the other teams possess a lots of work to perform to even compare to Red Bull this coming year. But could they actually do it over time, as well as if they do can Red Bull develop newer technology to further improve the vehicle even more.

Formula One fans will probably take what is the news with two feelings, firstly one of excitement of seeing the electricity and handling in the red bull. The next will probably be considered one of disappointment the 2011 season may not even begin if your Red Bull can be so far in front of the competition. Lets hope another teams will get to the testing tracks with faster, better cars so that the 2011 gets to be a great season and not a wash out.

Personally I really hope there eventually ends up being 3 or 4 teams that can challenge to the title. Having a mix of teams that can’t just win races but win titles will make 2011 one of the most exciting seasons in recent history. It will likewise combine excitement on race day if any car on the initial two rows of the grid can seriously challenge to the race (not just the very first corner).
